Now University of Chicago is the one i am interested in most out of the 4. Here is a short sketch of my resume:

-4.17 gpa weighted (3.84 unweighted)
-2050 sat, 31 act
-800,780,730,720 for sat ii
-Top 4% of class
-President of Environmental Club, Secretary of Computer Club
-Counselor at leadership summer camp for high school students
-Volunteer at Natural History Museum
-Academic Decathlon Honors Member
-Background: Korean-American 1st generation. Middle class. Parents with little or no English fluency.

What are my strengths? What are my weaknesses? Can my app be competitive in the 4 colleges?

I think you are in the door for Northwestern.

The rest you have a decent chance. I had similar stats and I attended NYU. There really is no way to know for sure. Take a deep breath, apply and see where you get in. That is about all you can do no matter what people may tell you on this board.

go with the blackberry storm….it is a nice phone and the touch screen is amazing…the battery life is awesome and the web browsing is so fast and easy. Be aware that the touch screen will take some time to get used to…maybe like a day or two.

I’m going on a Southwest Airlines connecting flight. What it be a bad idea to check my luggage?

No, it would not be a bad idea. I’ve checked bags many times on Southwest with connecting flights and have never had a problem. Even when there was not much time between the flights my luggage always made it to the destination.

Its fine. As long as the connecting flights have at least 45 minutes in between and your flight is on time. As you hit summer travel, be prepared to allow more time for delays.

But if you think you want to be sure, then pack everything in a carry one and take it on board with you. Just remember that you are not allowed more than a few bottles of liquid in your carry on . Better still just buy your liquids and gels at your destination. This includes toothpaste!

But if you check luggage, you can pack your liquids and gels in.

If both legs of your flight are Southwest – no problem at all. I’ve flown Southwest almost weekly for the past 4 years – many times with up to 4 connecting flights, and never had a problem with my bags. If I were you, I’d check the bags and forget about them until you arrive at your final destination.

I’m a waitress and work Halloween night, my boss said we can dress up. He’s really easy going and cool if that helps. And I have to go from work directly to my friends so I have to wear the same outfit to both places. I want it to be creative, cute, sexy, fun, etc.

Go to a Halloween costume shop near you, because I checked and Wal-Mart doesn’t carry an Alice costume. It’s cute and waitressy, but sexy and fun enough for a party!
