Are airports so busy in the morning as they are in the afternoon?
my flight will depart a 6:30 am from Denver to Phoenix so i will be there about at 4:30 or 5 in the morning. i never traveled so early so i wanted to know if it will be to busy at that time.

i have a morning flight tomorrow as well, so i can tell you from experience, most airports are dead before about 7am. even in cities that you’re flying into and out of. i always book as early in the morning as possible just to avoid the crowds.
btw, that also means that nothing will be open, so grab some breakfast before you get to the airport.

Early morning tends to be a slower time of day in most airports, however, depending on the day and what occurred the previous days (delays, cancellations) you may find it very busy. Also because it tends to be less busy, there are fewer screeners, and should there be an influx of passengers, the line will get long.

It depends on the airport and what destinations they serve. But Denver I would expect to have a number of flights depart in the early morning. United and Frontier both operate a lot of flights out of this airport. Therefore getting to the airport at the time you specified is a good idea, especially with the long lines in security.

Denver is pretty good at like 5am. Short lines through security, and sometimes check in.

It usually depends what airport and what specific time. 6:30 Am is very early so its probably not going to be busy at all. Most airports start getting crowded at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM
